This recipe makes 55 servings.
Ingredients
3 quarts orange sherbet
5 quarts chilled ginger ale
Directions
Place large chunks of orange sherbet in a chilled punch bowl.
Pour ginger ale over the sherbet, holding the bottles some distance above the bowl.
If you prefer a different color and flavor, use different flavors of sherbet.
Ingredients
1 large can pineapple juice
1 large bottle ginger ale
1 quart pineapple or lime sherbet
Directions
Have juice and ginger ale cold. Mix in punch bowl. Float sherbet on top.

This recipe makes 35 servings.
Ingredients
4 cups cranberry juice
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 cups pineapple juice
2 cups orange juice
2 quarts ginger ale
1/2 gallon raspberry sherbet
Directions
Combine first four ingredients. (Fill a ring mold with part of the mixture. Freeze the ring mold.)
When ready to serve punch, pour ginger ale and sherbet into a punch bowl with the juice mixture.
Float the ice ring in bowl.
This recipe serves 28.
Ingredients
3 (12 oz) containers of frozen unsweetened apple juice concentrate, thawed and undiluted
9 cups water
1/2 cup lime juice
1/2 gallon lime sherbet, softened
9 cups club soda, chilled
Directions
Combine apple juice, water, and lime juice in large bowl. Cover mixture and chill.
Just before serving, spoon sherbet into punch bowl. Slowly pour apple juice mixture and club soda into bowl. Stir gently.
When serving your punch, it is important to chill the bowl itself in advance. You can do this by filling the bowl with cracked ice. Remove the ice just before you pour in the punch.
Wreath the bowl with ivy and flowers for a festive effect.
