CAPE CODE PUNCH

This recipe makes 30 servings.

Ingredients

3 cups vodka
2 quarts cranberry juice
1 quart orange juice
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup fine sugar
1 quart mineral water
Ice

Directions

Dissolve sugar in juices in a large bowl. Add vodka. Stir well. Pour over ice into a punch bowl. Add water just before serving.

CRANBERRY CIDER

This recipe makes 25 servings.

Ingredients

3 quarts. cranberry juice
2/3 cup lemon juice
2 cups orange juice
1/2 cup sugar
2 fifths vodka (optional)
1 quart carbonated water

Directions

Mix ingredients as listed. Add the carbonated water very gently just before serving.

GIN PUNCH

This recipe serves 40.

Ingredients

1 pint sloe gin
1 fifth dry gin
1 pint lemon juice
1 pound powdered sugar
2 quarts orange juice
1 bottle ginger ale
1 pint iced tea
1 bottle dry soda
Ice

Directions

Pour sugar over the gin and dissolve. Add the other ingredients except for the ginger ale and soda. Pour into a large punch bowl and add ice and the ginger ale and soda just before serving.

SANGRIA

This recipe makes 40 servings.

Ingredients

2 gallons burgundy wine
1 gallon champagne or ginger ale
Lemon, lime and orange slices
2 cups orange juice
1/2 cup lime juice

Directions

Mix burgundy and juices in punch bowl. Add champagne or ginger ale immediately before serving. Add fruit slices. Serve over crushed ice.

SANGRIA PUNCH

This recipe makes 12 servings.

Ingredients

1 whole orange
1 whole lemon, sliced thinly
Juice of one lemon
1/2 cup sugar
2 bottles (4/5 qt each) Burgundy or Pinot Noir
1 bottle (1 qt) sparkling water, chilled

Directions

Cut outer rind from orange in a spiral strip. Squeeze orange into juice. In a large bowl mix orange spiral, orange juice, lemon slices and lemon juice. Add Burgundy and sugar. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Chill at least 4 hours. Remove lemon slices and orange peel, if desired. Pour into punch bowl; add sparkling water.

WINE PUNCH

Ingredients

1 small can frozen limeade
1 bottle apple juice (regular size)
2 cans frozen grape juice (large
)1 bottle of Port Wine
1 orange sliced
Ice

Directions

Add only enough water to rinse the juice out of the can. Mix together. Put into punch bowl. Add crushed ice. Add orange slice.

How To Decorate Your Punch Bowl

  • Decorate your punch bowl with ivy and flowers. Wrap the ivy around the bottom of the punch bowl. Place the flowers randomly in the ivy.
  • Make an ice ring to go in your punch instead of using ice cubes.

How To Make A Fruit Ice Ring

Use any combination of lime, lemon or orange slices.

Arrange the fruit slices in a pattern in the bottom of an 8 inch ring mold. Add only enough water to cover fruit freeze solid. When frozen solid, fill mold with water and freeze again.

Christmas Wreath Ice Ring

Place red and green cherries around the bottom of the ring mold.

Cover cherries with water and freeze solid. When frozen fill the mold with water and freeze again.

To unmold ice rings, you dip the bottom of the mold into warm water.
